This apartment had great potential: a seaside complex, a beautiful pool, and a convenient location. However, the outdated renovation spoiled the impression and significantly lowered the rental price. The goal was to transform the space, giving it a fresh, modern look and making it stylish, cozy, and attractive for holidaymakers.
In addition to the outdated renovation, the apartment also surprised with some rather unusual color choices: green walls, orange walls paired with pink curtains… The bedrooms had old wooden beds with uncomfortable mattresses, and the lighting did not do justice to the space — with high ceilings and spacious rooms, there were only two dim wall lamps in each. As always, we carefully considered what should be replaced and what could stay. We decided to keep the flooring — although the tiles were small, their neutral beige tone worked well enough to avoid costly replacement throughout the apartment. The wardrobes and doors also remained: the wardrobes are tall, in good condition, and can easily be refreshed with paint, while the doors and kitchen are planned to be updated next season. The bathroom, however, was fully renovated and completely transformed into a modern, comfortable space.
In the living room, lighting became the key element of transformation. We had to chase the walls throughout the apartment to hide the wiring and create a modern, layered lighting system with different scenarios. Here we didn’t set limits, since all the walls and ceilings were being leveled and repainted anyway.
At the heart of the room now shines a striking designer chandelier — a true statement piece and the “jewel” of the interior. Soft curtains in calm tones were hung on our signature LED-lit cornice, adding depth and coziness to the space. Atmospheric lighting on the panels, together with a stylish floor lamp, completed the composition, making the panel wall the centerpiece of the living room while subtly dividing the space into functional zones.
In the bedrooms, we chose a soft beige for the walls — it wraps the space in warmth and instantly sets a relaxing mood. A striking chandelier hangs from the ceiling, complemented by wall sconces that provide gentle, cozy lighting. The room comfortably accommodates a wide 180 cm mattress bed, adding immediate comfort. Delicate moldings on the walls serve as subtle decorative accents, giving the room its atmosphere. Light, elegant curtains replaced the old ones, completing the look and bringing harmony to the space.
The second bedroom is designed in the same soft beige tones as the first, creating harmony throughout the apartment. The bed here is slightly smaller but still double, and we changed its placement — now the room feels more balanced, with easy access from both sides and space for bedside tables and outlets. The bed itself has decorative details, so no additional wall decor was needed. We also installed an air conditioner, which the room previously lacked, ensuring comfort during hot days.
In every project, we pay close attention to details and real-life scenarios: is it comfortable to have meals at the table, is there enough light for cooking in the kitchen, is the mattress comfortable for sleeping. We carefully select textiles and small decorative items to make every corner feel harmonious and cozy. This way, the home becomes attractive both for personal use and for renters. By the way, this apartment was successfully rented for the entire summer, with bookings at twice the previous price.
